Grant Road Skywalk, Mumbai’s most expensive skywalk, has a cable stay design and is a landmark structure in the city.

The Grant Road Skywalk is Mumbai’s most expensive skywalk and is also the first cable-stayed skywalk in the city and it was inaugurated for public use on 23rd July’14. The oval shaped structure is supported by 16 cables suspended from a central tower and also has three escalators for better accessibility. The total length of the sky-walk is 580 meters and the structure was constructed at a cost of INR 430 Million. The skywalk has been fitted with multi-colour light-emitting diodes which add to the aesthetic appeal of the structure. The project was initiated by MSRDC and TPFEPL has worked on the detailed engineering and construction management of this structure.
