Design of a new double track electrified railway branch corresponding to Valencia metro, of 670 m underground full length. It includes civil engineering, architecture, superstructure, electrification and safety and railway facilities, development of urban areas, replacement of right of way and utilities affected.

A Basic Project has been drafted, which aims to allow for the completion of the inception of the tender dossier (expropriations and permissions, etc) and public proceedings.

Environmental and Landscape Integration Study has been carried out.

The length of the project is 670 m of a double track metro line and it includes the design of the new Tavernes terminus station, which is cu de sac type and has a central platform with useful length of 90 m.

A new underground building is designed and urban integration of adjacent land is addressed. All facilities, furnishings and equipment of the station are also designed. The total floor area is 5,511 m². The total built-up area is 8,670 m².

The project includes a total length of concrete slab track of 1,286 m.

A simple polygonal braced catenary to be fed by direct current (CC) at rated voltage of 1500 V is designed.

The project includes the design of signaling equipment, interlocking, remote traffic, Automatic Train Protection Stationary System (ATP), Automatic Train Operation stationary System (ATO), and extension of the various Communication Networks

The project is completed with the final design of all elements of civil engineering and railway infrastructure, replacement of roads, right of way and utilities affected, architecture, and with the expropriations dossier.
