S.N. Bhobe and Associates Pvt. Ltd. awarded contrat for a major bridge across Bankot creek

We are proud and privileged at S. N. Bhobe and Associates Pvt. Ltd., (SNBAPL) to associate with Supreme Infrastructure (I) Ltd., (SIIL) for the work owned by Public Works Division (PWD), Government of Maharashtra for the work of structural design and construction engineering of Major bridge across Bankot creek between village Kolmandla in Raigad district and village Veshvi in Ratnagiri district on the major state highway no. 4 (Revas Reddi coastal highway) in Raigad district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

The salient features of the project are –

1. The main navigable spans of the bridge is a cable stay bridge project.
2. Total length of bridge – 1375 m.
3. The length of approaches - 455.6 m.
4. The length of cable stay portion (navigational span) – 250 m.
5. The navigational span is – 125 m.
6. The width of bridge – 13.60 m.
7. Superstructure – Precast PSC segmental type box girders.
8. Substructure – Pile foundations with 1.2 and 1.5 m diameter.
